I’m sure my customers will have plenty of questions. But my website is brand new and nobody has asked any questions yet. There is one question that nobody seems to ask, and that question is “How do you pronounce your name?” I get “dotti”, “dotty”, “doddy”, “doe-tee”, “doe-dee”. My last name is “Doody”. If you’ll notice my name has two ‘o’s right between the ‘d’s. Everyone can pronounce the word ‘moody’ or the word ‘booty’. The same pronunciation applies to the name Doody. I mean, nobody mispronounces Howdy Doody. Am I right? When was the last time someone sang “Its Howdy Doddy time…”? They would have been frog-marched out of the Peanut Gallery. So there you have it. Doody. Rymes with booty.
