Introducing my first fine art print reproduction of my original 13” X 24” original oil painting on Masonite board titled LONG MESA. This original art was inspired by the ancient monolithic red rock formations in Monument Valley. Here colors are constantly changing, depending on the time of day. At high noon the formations exhibit a softer mix of orange, violet and red hues. Sun-up and sundown bring out the more intense and concentrated hues of these colors that seem to vibrate against a cobalt blue sky. Shadows highlight the contrasts of the rocks. Long Mesa is also available in fine art giclee prints. Each print is reproduced on acid-free archival paper, using non-fading pigmented inks. This framed original paint wall art will look great on your wall.
An artist can never run out of inspiration in Monument Valley. The magnificent red stone monoliths that stand guard over the valley have bore witness to the forces of nature that carved this landscape out of solid rock with rain, snow, wind, hail, heat and cold. These are the tools that nature had at her disposal to patiently carve her masterpieces over millions of years. The Valley is her studio. Enjoy.
