There’s a reason why they call New Mexico “The Land of Enchantment.” The state is known for its known for its almost dream-like natural beauty. There are breathtaking landscapes that feature mesas, mountains, canyons, gorges and other geological formations. But that’s only the half of it. If you look up, (actually you can’t help but look up), at some of the planet’s most dramatic and it’s inspiring ‘cloud scapes.’ From towering billowing thunderheads, sheets and strips of cirrus clouds to the characteristic white fluffy cumulus clouds, with colors shifting from blue to white to brilliant pink, sometimes in a matter of seconds. On some days, the clouds almost look like tumbleweeds blowing across the cobalt blue sky. Other days they look like billowing giants, trying to outmuscle each other to impress us mere mortals. And still on other days, they just look like …clouds.
