Established in 1725 as the Las Trampas De Taos until the name change years later to Rancho De Taos. New Mexico is often referred to as the Land of Enchantment. This phrase is even stamped onto their license plates. Part of that enchantment comes from its many adobe missions, constructed at the height of the Spanish Empire back in the 1720s. One of the most iconic missions is the San Francisco de Asia Mission Church at the Taos Pueblo. Oil on masonite. 11″ X 14″.
